BMW will finally launch the next generation 3 Series in India on August 21

The seventh gen (G20) 3 series model was unveiled last year at the Paris Motor Show and is based on the new CLAR architecture.

This model is a better looking than the F30 model it replace. BMW’s Kidney grille is characteristic of the new crop of BMWs. The headlights carry the signature DRL styling but are a lot bigger and edgier than the F30. While the L-shaped taillights are akin to the ones seen on the new Z4 Roadster and 8 Coupe.

It will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol and a 3.0-litre diesel mill, which will be paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Expected to be slightly more expensive than the outgoing model, it will continue to take on its main rivals like the Mercedes-Benz C-class and the Audi A4 in India.
